Established in 1930, the Lafayette County and Oxford Public Library has been serving Lafayette County as a branch of First Regional Library for almost ninety years. We strive to meet each individual’s information needs with a collection of thousands of films, an expansive music library, public computers, laptops, hundreds of special programs (story times, adult book clubs, guest speakers, puppet shows, and movie showings, all open to the public), and yes, even books – all free at your public library.
- To place holds, find books, etc., please use FRL’s catalog. If you can’t remember your PIN, try the last four digits of your library card number.
- Please call or stop by the library to schedule meeting rooms —do not use this form.
- Our local historical/genealogical society is located in our building but is not part of First Regional Library. Please call (or, preferably, snail mail) if you have a genealogical question—they do not accept email queries.
