And They Lived Happily Ever After

Remember how a few days ago we posted about Reading with Roverand how great it is to work on Saturdays because we get to meet sweet, furry babies and call it work?  Well it just got a whole lot sweeter for the sweet, furry baby that we met on Saturday and we couldn’t wait to share!

This is Dolly hanging out in our children’s area on Saturday, January 14th.  Look at that smile! And that fancy bandanna! And those sweet, fluffy ears!

And here is Dolly on Tuesday, January the 17th with her new family that she met at Reading with Rover!

They just couldn’t help but fall for that smile and those ears and that precious personality and we here at the Lafayette County/Oxford Public Library are just beside ourselves with excitement for this wonderful happy ending.

If you want to know more about how you can bring home a new family member, check out http://www.oxfordpets.com/ for more information.  Interested in volunteering with Reading for Rover? Contact Sarah at the Oxford/Lafayette County Humane Society.  Want to come read a story to a puppy?  Our next Reading with Rover is February 11th at 10:30.  We would love for you to come see us.
