Staff Question: Literary Tattoos

While surfing the interwebs this weekend, we ran across this great article about Literary Tattoos from BookFinds.com.  Turns out the most popular literary tattos are from Fight Club, The Little Prince, Where the Wild Things Are, Alice in Wonderland and Slaughterhouse Five according to Publishers Weekly.  And it got us to thinking, if our patrons were to get literary tattoos, what would you get?  Here are some of our staffs responses, but we’d love to hear yours too!

Blake:  A lightning bolt on my forehead (via Harry Potter)

Stacey: The phrase “No One Mourns the Wicked” from Wicked

Laura Beth: A ham (like the costume worn by Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird)

Jonathan: A quote: “Now is the winter of our discontent” from Richard III
Corey: Jim Roslof’s image of the Greek god Hermes from the 1st Edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Dieties and Demigods Handbook

Sarah: A neon Bible from the book Neon Bible by John Kennedy Toole

Interested in seeing more literary tattoos?  There is a book called The World Made Flesh and it has a great video trailor.  Check it out here for more info and to watch the clip.
