The Book Lives On Art Show

Lafayette County and Oxford Public Library formally invite you to our first ever
The Book Lives on Art Show

Join us on April 11th for fun and refreshments as we auction off various creations by University of Mississippi students, volunteers, community members and local artists in order to help support our Friends of the Library.

Our Friends support so much for our library, we thought this would be a wonderful opportunity to help support them.  Just what do they support you may ask? Well they provide us with refreshments for World Film Night, Books’n Lunch, and our Annual Tea Party; they buy the candy and eggs for our Easter Egg Hunt; the prizes and supplies for our Summer Reading Programs and our W.A.R.M. program as well.  PLUS, (and most importantly to some) they fully fund and support our library cats Atticus (orange) and Scout (black/brown).

Our show goes live on April 1st so everyone will have plenty of time to come scope out the merchandise before our big sale.  Save the date now, hope to see you there then!
**We are still looking for pieces for our collection, so if you are interested in donating a piece we would love to speak with you.  All showcased art will feature full details about the artist and any unsold art can be returned. For more information call us between 10-5:30 and ask for Stacey- she’s the lady putting this together.**
