The first week of our summer extravaganza “Can You Dig It?’ flew by here at the library. And we are gearing up for a busy and fun time during week two!
Monday, June 10th at 2:30 pm begins our Children’s Picture Book Writing and Illustrating Workshop with the talented Sarah Frances Hardy for kids 8 years and up. We have a few spots left for this fabulous opportunity so call us (234-5751) to register. This program is funded through a Yoknapatawpha Arts Council grant. We love the YAC!
Tuesday, June 11th at 2 pm Animal Tales will bring its Animal Underground program featuring a Harris Hawk, a Kenyon Sand Boa, a 50 lb. Sulcatta Tortoise, and a Paraguayan Screaming Hairy Armadillo!!! How could anyone resist that line up?
Thursday, June 13th at noon is a Books & Lunch program we are all excited about. John T. Edge will be here to show a short film and talk about BBQ. Lunch will be served so please call and register.
Thursday, June 13th at 6:30 pm is Family Story time and Friday, June 14th at 10:00 is Toddler Time with Story Time following at 10:30.
