Changing lives

We have had a wonderful National Library Week at the LCOPL.  And we wanted to mention a couple of new things that we are offering at the library. The Yoknapatawpha Arts Council and the Gertrude Ford Center for the Performing Arts have generously donated tickets to events that are available for check out with a library card in good standing. And we have started a Seed Lending Library. Patrons may check out seeds, plant and grow vegetables, herbs, and/or flowers, and then harvest some seeds to be returned for other patrons to use. We love both of these new options for the LOU community. Ask us to tell you all about them!

To end this fun and informative journey, we asked a few of our patrons to let us interview them about the library. Thank you to our participants, and also to Sarah Gardner for asking the tough questions, and Seth Wilson for filming and editing these videos.  Enjoy!
