Can I get directions?
From Jackson Ave: Stay on Jackson Avenue heading East. You will have to go “around the Square” because part of Jackson is one way. When you are finally around the Square get back on Jackson and take it until it meets a stop light. If you are at that stop light, and you look right, that’s the back of our building!
From Highway 7: Take the University Exit heading into town, West. Once you are on University Avenue you will stay straight until you reach the Bramlett/S 18th intersection. This is locally known as the “Burger King Intersection” because Burger King is located here. Turn Right. We are the big, two story brick building with white columns on the left.
From University Ave: Take University West. Head down the hill until you reach the Bramlett/S 18th intersection. This is locally known as the “Burger King Intersection” because Burger King is located here. Turn Left. We are the big, two story brick building with white columns on the left.

We are open 7 days a week! From Monday to Thursday we are open from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm. On Friday and Saturday we are open from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm and on Sunday we are open from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
How can I get a library card?
All we need is to see an ID and some type of proof that you live/work/go to school in Lafayette County or one of the counties in the First Regional System. If your address on your ID is a Lafayette County address, that will be just fine. If not, bring a piece of mail, a bill of some sort, a lease… anything with your name and address.
If you want to get a card for your child, you need a card in good standing, but that’s all.
If you have previously had a card and lost it, we can gladly replace it if you have an ID. It costs $1 to replace cards.

How can I volunteer at the library?
We love volunteers. We especially love volunteers to call at least one day before and set up a time to come help out. This gives us a chance to put together a project for you and make sure that someone is available to show you how to do said project. Please call us at 662-234-5751 and let us know when you’d like to come help out!
